Bass Drum of Death arrives in Barcelona on October 19, 2026, at Sala Upload to unleash its dirty, direct garage rock, with that touch of punk and noise that has always been its hallmark. Born in the late 2000s around John Barrett in the Oxford, Mississippi scene, the project began almost solo, recorded with urgency and rough guitars, and gradually evolved into a band geared for live performance: short songs, dry rhythms, and a sound that blends lo-fi with American indie rock. After early EPs such as Stain Stick Skin and High School Roaches, the group sharpened its formula on records like GB City, Bass Drum of Death, and Rip This. After a pause, Barrett revived the name with Just Business and continued pushing with more recent releases such as Say I Won't, without losing the raw energy that works especially well on stage.
