Chanpan presents « Autogratis North American Tour »

Chanpan brings the autogratis North American Tour to Drake Underground in Toronto on October 25, 2026. Formed in New York’s Chinatown, the trio — Grace Dumdaw with twin brothers Lance and Matthew Tran — began by busking on the street, then carried that close-range energy onto venue stages. Their music tightens indie rock into something lean and direct, driven by punk urgency with a clear thread to riot grrrl, all clipped rhythms, tense guitars and vocals that balance bite and clarity.

Rooted in NYC’s independent circuits, Chanpan writes as a unit and plays with a front-facing immediacy shaped by constant contact with people in the street and in small rooms. The members’ experiences beyond music — organizing, film and television — feed a point of view that stays grounded while looking outward.
