Scientist performs 'Scientist Rids the World of the Evil Curse of the Vampires' at Brudenell Social Club, Leeds, on 17 February 2027 at 7:30 pm.
The Jamaican producer recreates his 1981 dub reggae album live in full, plus more.
King Tubby protégé Scientist helped pioneer the dub genre in the late 1970s at Studio One, gaining a reputation for his distinctive mixing style. Scientist soon became the principal engineer at Channel One, releasing a series of albums in the early 1980s such as Scientist Meets the Space Invaders, Scientific Dub, Scientist Wins the World Cup, Scientist Encounters Pac-Man, Scientist and Jammy Strike Back, and Scientist Rids the World of the Evil Curse of the Vampires.
