Info
La Coka Nostra celebrates twenty years of activity and returns to the stage. Formed in the mid-2000s between Boston and New York, the collective brings together underground hip‑hop figures like Ill Bill, Slaine and Danny Boy, with strong ties to House of Pain. Frontal rhymes, dark atmospheres, boom‑bap infused with punk accents: their identity was forged away from the spotlights, through incisive lyrics and an uncompromising stage presence.
At the Halle Verrière in Meisenthal on 12 September 2026, the crew revisits its essentials, from A Brand You Can Trust to Masters of the Dark Arts and To Thine Own Self Be True, not forgetting the solo careers that have fed the whole. Expect a set that draws on the classics, tightens the energy and refocuses on the blend of street, politics and social tension that has united their audience for two decades. Under the banner “La Coka Nostra Invites,” the group also leaves the door open to guests, in the spirit of a shared cypher.
