Info

Queensrÿche bring their melodic, progressive metal to Islington Assembly Hall in London on 23 June 2026. Formed in the early 80s in Washington State, the band built a sound of intricate guitars, taut rhythms and high-register vocals that ran from the first EP through The Warning and Rage for Order, then the conceptual Operation: Mindcrime and Empire, and into later albums including Promised Land and Digital Noise Alliance. Today, Michael Wilton and Eddie Jackson steer the group alongside vocalist Todd La Torre, keeping the focus on precision riffing, layered harmonies and narrative songwriting. On stage, the set navigates key tracks from the classic cycle and newer cuts, balancing complexity and melody without slowing the pace. Expect twin‑guitar interplay, dynamic shifts and atmospheric passages that highlight the band’s progressive side, with La Torre carrying the soaring lines while the rhythm section locks into punchy, detailed grooves. A career-spanning show, concise and direct.
