Malmö Techno Tales Chapter 2 with Dold

On May 23, Malmö Techno Tales returns to Inkonst, teaming up with Inkonst Club Night for Chapter 2.

For the first time, Arsenik Records label boss Dold will take over Inkonst’s yellow brick floor and play a 90-minute live techno set.

Dold crafts loopy, emotionally charged techno rooted in its core forms. His sound blends the driving force of 4/4 with elements of ambient, IDM, breakbeat, and electro, maintaining a stripped-back yet expressive character. Balancing club energy with introspective depth, his music channels techno’s heritage while pushing it forward.

As support, a familiar face in the MTT scene, Malmö’s own Winola is back again. Fast, dark, and uncompromising. Bad Balance will open the night.

Dold - Arsenik Records (SE)
Stockholm producer Patrik Eriksson is a proponent of loopy and emotionally charged techno, with one eye focused on its core forms. Under his Dold moniker, the DJ and producer crafts moments designed for both home and club, with evocative simplicity.
Since founding Arsenik Records in 2015, he has built a platform for techno on his own terms, expanding its catalogue and showcasing the work of like-minded artists. This path has led to releases on labels including KEY, Token, Fuse, and Bassiani, as well as performances worldwide.
While the linear thrust of 4/4 techno forms the backbone of his sound, his recorded work and live sets encompass ambient, IDM, breakbeat, and electro, and deliver consistency with character. Stripped-back yet expressive, Dold’s music channels techno’s history while charting a path forward.

Winola (SE)
Malmö-based DJ and producer Winola creates journeys through dark, trippy techno, often incorporating trance-leaning elements. Her sets build immersive, atmospheric soundscapes.

Bad Balance - Kenopsia, Malmö Techno Tales (SE)
Malmö-based Bad Balance, founder of the mixcast series and club concept Malmö Techno Tales and co-founder of the collective Kenopsia, began his DJ journey in 2020. It started when he and a few friends organized open-air events on the outskirts of Malmö. Since then, he has become a regular in his hometown and has played at clubs in Copenhagen.
He gravitates towards a mix of hypnotic and groovy techno sounds, with a penchant for blippy sounds, rhythmic beats, and round kicks.
