Info

On June 5, 2026, Amanda Shires brings her Streetlights & Stars European Tour to The Ambassador Theatre in Dublin, Ireland. Raised between Lubbock and Mineral Wells, the Texas violinist-singer writes at the crossroads of alt-country, folk and americana. Her songs trace relationships and everyday detours with a clear voice and the fiddle up front, shifting from pared-back acoustic sketches to more electric, atmospheric textures.

A performer since her teens with the Texas Playboys and later the Lubbock Thrift Store Cowboys, Shires sharpened her craft in Nashville, releasing albums from Being Brave and West Cross Timbers through Carrying Lightning, Down Fell the Doves, My Piece of Land and Take It Like a Man. Along the way she joined Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit and co-founded The Highwomen with Brandi Carlile, Maren Morris and Natalie Hemby, linking country tradition to present-day stories.

On stage in Dublin, she threads narrative and melody with the fiddle as pulse and foil. The set moves from intimate confessionals to taut, guitar-and-fiddle passages, folding in newer songs alongside favorites for a night focused on songwriting, interplay and that distinctive violin tone.
