Info
Through nearly 3,500 works from the collections of the Musée du quai Branly – Jacques Chirac, the permanent exhibition offers a journey to the heart of the cultures of Africa, Asia, Oceania, and the Americas.
Grouped according to these broad geographic horizons and regularly refreshed, the works form a living, unique landscape where artistic forms, knowledge, and imaginaries from across the four corners of the world intersect.
Along this journey, several spaces extend the discovery. Three mezzanines are devoted to temporary exhibitions, as well as to the Marc Ladreit de Lacharrière donation: the Galerie Germain Viatte, the Atelier Martine Aublet, and the Galerie Marc Ladreit de Lacharrière.
Other spaces invite more singular experiences: the Graphic Arts Box presents displays of works drawn from the museum's drawings, photographs, and prints collections, while the Music Box offers the creations of artists laureates of the Sound Residency program.
