Roméo & Juliette has brought together more than 11 million spectators worldwide. Translated into 18 languages and performed in 20 countries, the show, launched in 2001 at the Palais des Congrès, drew nearly 2.5 million spectators in Paris. The original duo, Damien Sargue and Cécilia Cara, have portrayed the title roles since the beginning.

For Cécilia Cara, returning to Paris with Roméo & Juliette has a special significance. Selected at 15 to play Juliet, she reprises the role alongside Damien Sargue, with the experience she has gained over the years. The story continues to unite audiences and convey emotion.

Continuing in the same vein, Damien Sargue emphasizes that coming back to Paris after taking Roméo & Juliette around the world, notably in Asia, brings a fresh perspective. This role has accompanied him since 2001 and, shared today with Cécilia Cara, takes on a different dimension over time.

With more than 9 million records sold and songs that have become well known, including "Les Rois du monde" and "Aimer," Roméo & Juliette has left its mark on the history of musical theatre. For nearly 25 years, the production has adapted to the changes of its time while preserving its identity, between its songs and stage aesthetics.

For Gérard Presgurvic, Roméo & Juliette still asks: how far are we willing to go for love? Inspired by Shakespeare, this story continues to be shared with the public. The presence of Damien Sargue and Cécilia Cara offers an interpretation enriched by their experience.

In 2027, Roméo & Juliette returns in a reimagined version, with a new cast, new costumes and new scenography, while preserving the show's DNA. The new elements will be revealed step by step.
