Singer-songwriter and performer, Loa moves between the invincible rock star and the sensual diva. At the crossroads of genres, she brings a fresh breeze to French song, balancing softness and violence and blending psychedelic rock, urban music, pop, shoegaze and funk, while drawing on the national heritage: Christophe, Mylène Farmer, Françoise Hardy… Through poetic lyrics, she offers a distant yet sensitive perspective on existence, as if observing it from a space probe, far from the real world. She openly asserts her gender fluidity and trans identity in her songs and image. She elevates androgyny with “strength and grace,” a credo she chants in her concerts and performances. She will be at the Sonic on 7 May 2026 at 6:00 PM to present her album, scheduled for release in 2026.
