Hommage à Julio Iglesias

Diego Ramos pays tribute to Julio Iglesias with a concert that dives back into the Spanish crooner’s repertoire. Accompanied by a live band, he delivers a bilingual setlist faithful to Iglesias’s polyglot career, in French and Castilian Spanish. The programme includes classics such as Vous les femmes, Me va, me va and Soy un truhán, soy un señor, performed with careful attention to the lyrics and the phrasing that shaped these songs.

A measured vocal delivery and tasteful arrangements create a restrained atmosphere, close to the spirit of great recitals. The pared-down staging leaves room for the melodies and the Latin rhythms, without imitation, offering a reinterpretation that favors emotion and the precision of the live performance.

This concert is part of Diego Ramos’s first major tour of France.
