François Constantin brings together his Monday Jam, an open playground where improvisation takes center stage. An experienced percussionist, he sets the framework, introduces themes, fuels the exchanges and establishes a clear tempo to let voices and instruments breathe. Around him the stage revolves: instrumentalists and singers take turns, revisit standards, slip in original compositions and test ideas live. The spirit: all forms of jazz, the same eagerness to play, and a space to listen to music being created in the present.
People come for the musical conversation, to watch a groove take shape, a percussion motif shift the balance, a solo find its place and then return to the collective. There’s no locked‑in format, but a shared trajectory guided by listening and François Constantin’s sense of interplay.
