Mohama Saz

Mohama Saz lands at Sala El Sol in Madrid on 20 June 2026 as part of Sound Isidro. The Madrid-based band weaves its own sound where psychedelic rock dialogues with Middle Eastern melodies and Mediterranean rhythms. On stage, the electric saz marks the way between drones and repetitive riffs; the wind instruments open up space with rough-edged or melodic lines, and the rhythm section pushes forward with irregular time signatures and grooves that invite you to let go. Their live performance works like a continuous journey: long instrumental passages that grow gradually, electric outbursts, shifts in pulse and moments of calm that prepare the next surge. They aren’t after folkloric postcards nor virtuosity for its own sake; what they aim for is the exact point where psychedelic trance crosses with Madrid’s urban pulse.
