On June 5, 2026, Tower of Power bring their East Bay soul to Vega in Copenhagen. Formed in Oakland around saxophonist Emilio Castillo, the band has long fused funk, soul and R&B with a brass-forward sound. On stage, the horn section leads the charge with tight unison lines and sharp counter-melodies, anchored by a syncopated rhythm team and bass lines that sit deep in the pocket.
