Celtic Woman: A New Era arrives at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa on April 19, 2026. Formed in Dublin in the mid‑2000s, the all‑female Irish vocal ensemble centers its live show on close harmonies, a featured solo violin, and contemporary arrangements of traditional songs and popular ballads. Conceived by musical director David Downes for a televised concert, the project has kept a steady collective identity while welcoming new singers from classical, musical theatre and traditional backgrounds, allowing the lineup to evolve without losing its sound. Blending Celtic roots, Irish folk, orchestral pop and classical crossover, the repertoire moves from Gaelic airs to English‑language pieces reworked for voices, strings and light percussion.
