Info
On February 7, 2026, at 9-9bis in Oignies, MNNQNS presents Mothership, an original creation that brings the four members of the band on stage together with their sound engineer Robin Plante on modular synthesizer, plus a saxophonist. The set, composed entirely of unreleased pieces, centers on a modular system Robin has built piece by piece over the years. Capable of controlling both sound and lighting, the instrument pushes the band to conceive a holistic form, nourished by new tools and an open approach to composition. Positioned between Philip Glass, Plantasia, Einstürzende Neubauten, Lee “Scratch” Perry, Frank Zappa and Bowie, MNNQNS explores its structures and textures without filter, in a retrofuturistic aesthetic that echoes Phantom of the Paradise.
Temps Calme is a Lille-based trio at the crossroads of electronic music and psychedelic pop. Since their first EP in 2019, the band has been carving out a sound that is at once ethereal and vibrant, where reverb-drenched guitars, analog synths and organic rhythms answer one another. Their album Circuit (2020), followed by Vox III (2022), continues this taste for contrast: persistent melodies, retrofuturistic textures and atmospheres that swing between gentle melancholy and cosmic flights. A stage presence perfectly suited to converse with MNNQNS’s mutant universe.
