Carpenter Brut will be at Paloma in Nîmes on October 28, 2026. A leading figure of the synthwave scene since 2012, the French producer blends electronic music, rock energy and a metal heritage, with imagery directly inspired by the 1980s. Behind the project, Franck Hueso crafts a cinematic sound: cutting synths, emphatic rhythms and retro‑futuristic atmospheres nourished by VHS culture.

First revealed by the trilogy of EPs collected on Trilogy, he developed his narrative with Leather Teeth, a faux glam‑metal soundtrack that tells the origin of an anti‑hero, followed by Leather Terror, a darker, more metal‑oriented installment. Each record expands a universe that he continues to develop on stage through precise artistic direction, music videos and visuals.

In concert, Carpenter Brut relies on impact: machines, guitars and projections answer one another in a set conceived for the stage—both taut and immersive.
