Revealed to the wider public when he won Sweden’s Idol in 2017 and later noticed on America’s Got Talent in 2019, Chris Kläfford has since been carving a path between pop, folk and soft rock. A singer-songwriter from Lindesberg, he performs ballads and mid-tempo songs in English, focused on melody, lyrics and an acoustic guitar that keeps the backbone. His broad, expressive voice carries pared-down songs designed for intimate stage settings, from clubs to theatres.
On April 4, 2026, he will bring his guitars to the Cabaret du Casino in Montreal as part of his Sinners tour. Bolstered by interest from Quebec audiences, he will present a repertoire that weaves his own songs with a few rearranged covers, in a compact format that puts interpretation front and center. For the occasion, he will be accompanied by a seasoned musician from the local scene, adding an extra color to the arrangements without weighing the whole down.
