Toc Toc de Laurent Baffie

Laurent Baffie presents Toc Toc, a situational comedy that observes the small obsessions and everyday tinkering of daily life. On June 12, 2026 at Théâtre Beaulieu Nantes, six patients find themselves in the waiting room of Dr. Stern, a neuropsychiatrist. They all live with obsessive-compulsive disorders: palilalia, Tourette syndrome, nosophobia, or an inability to step on lines. The doctor is delayed, conversation settles in, personalities intersect, and the group invents rules and games to pass the time until the consultation. The text plays with incongruity, repetition and overall rhythm.

Directed by Pascal Maillard, the cast includes Mathieu Gaudin, Marie Elie, Sophie Morin, Nelly Pichotbadeaud, Kamal Rawas and Olivier Collin. Each actor embodies a disorder that responds to the others; gestures, words and rituals unfold within the confined space of the office, giving way to a collective dynamic and a meticulously calibrated mechanism.
