Info
On 18 December 2026, Verino arrives at Opéra Berlioz Montpellier with his new show, Rodéo. A comedian with a sharp eye, he focuses on our contradictions — tensions pulling in every direction. Rooted in reality but ready to let go, he moves by instinct, seeking balance in a turbulent era and favouring the art of the rodeo over a quiet stroll. His writing gets straight to the point and his sense of rhythm does the rest: a direct way of questioning without heaviness, tackling subjects from the right angle and bouncing back where you least expect it.
After Focus, performed to sold-out houses everywhere and boasting millions of views online, Verino continues to mine the same vein: observe, subvert, and draw laughter from what unsettles. On stage he navigates between intimate moments and instantaneity, keeps the connection with the audience and turns the jolts of everyday life into living material. Rodéo is his way of keeping hold of the rope without breaking it, of staying upright while everything around him shifts.
Written by: Verino. In collaboration with Marion Balestriero, Aude Galliou and Greg Vacher. Directed by: Thibaut Evrard.
