Info
The Rumjacks, the Australian Celtic punk band, arrive at La Puce à l’Oreille in Riom on March 18, 2026, to promote Dead Anthems, their sixth album. Recorded in Asbury Park, the record retains the folk-punk momentum that has defined them while opening a few windows onto new textures. At the helm are singer Mike Rivkees on production, Pete Steinkopf (The Bouncing Souls) on engineering and Kevin Bivona (The Interrupters) on mixing, yielding a direct, taut sound that blends melodic lines drawn from Celtic traditions with punk tension.
The band lives in constant motion—split between Boston, Berlin, Belfast and Milan—yet remains bonded by the scene. It is precisely there that The Rumjacks find their strength: anthemic choruses, nervy riffs, tempos that push forward and melodies that hook you instantly. Dead Anthems marks a chapter in which the songwriting gains greater definition without losing the raw instinct of their beginnings. Between pub-rock energy, Celtic accents and punk urgency, the set promises to be candid and no-frills. In Riom, it’s the perfect opportunity to experience this new facet of their journey, performed straight from the source and unfiltered.
