Jeremy Hababou

On 29 October 2026, Jeremy Hababou brings his piano to Le Radiant–Bellevue in Caluire-et-Cuire. An Israeli pianist and composer, he moves between contemporary jazz, classical writing and motifs drawn from the East. Solo after solo, he favors nuance over showmanship, plays with silence, and shapes melodies that unfold and return like fragments of stories. His playing is constructed, fluid, attentive to the textures and breaths of the acoustic piano.

On stage, Hababou weaves a dialogue between improvisation and form. Clear themes, a singing right hand, anchored bass lines that circulate the rhythm: the material is sculpted in real time, hovering between discreet choral passages, restrained dance and an inward-facing ballad. One slips from an almost baroque cadence to a more urban pulse without losing the thread, carried by readable writing and a sharp sense of dynamics.

A concert conceived for close listening, where each piece opens a different territory without affectation. An occasion to discover a musician who works at ear level—precise, curious—and who knows how to leave space for his melodies as well as for the moment.
