Christelle Chollet « Culottée »

On April 17, 2026, Christelle Chollet will present her new show at Le Firmament in Firminy. Twenty years after laying the foundations of her Comic-Hall, she returns with a musical format that blends sketches and rearranged songs. Accompanied live by two musicians, the singer and actress from Toulouse unfolds a series of short scenes featuring everyday heroines, pop figures and characters firmly rooted in the present day. Between subverted covers and original material, she tackles issues that stir society, shifts from biting satire to lightness, and treats abrupt changes like a riff. The writing favors rhythm and counterpoint, transitions are made through music, and the stage becomes a mobile, immediate music-hall. Without taking herself too seriously, Christelle probes our foibles as well as our impulses, extracting material for sketches and familiar choruses. A return to the roots of her style, conceived for the room and for live performance.
