As part of the Femmes du Monde festival, Solah brings together two sisters—songwriters, composers and performers—who blend their voices and life experiences for a concert that is both stripped-back and warm. The duo writes songs like scenes from everyday life, set in a pared-down soundscape where percussion, strings and acoustic textures converse. Their influences span Réunion, India, Africa and Madagascar, nourishing an aesthetic that borrows maloya’s pulses and breathing.

With Solah, a feminine voice asserts itself in a genre often dominated by men, without renouncing its roots. Their voices answer one another, weaving delicate harmonies and allowing melismas and supple rhythms to surface, resulting in music that prioritizes attentive listening and intimacy. Solah performs on 6 March 2026 at La Pyramide - Pôle culturel Bagnols-sur-Cèze, with a repertoire where the poetry of everyday life meets multiple influences and a keen attention to sonic detail.
