The Young Gods are a Swiss band of psychedelic rock and post-punk. The band is presenting their 14th studio album, Appear Disappear, released on 13 June 2025 by the independent label Two Gentlemen. After the atmospheric soundscapes of Data Mirage Tangram (2019), this record returns to a more direct expression. It also marks the trio’s 40th anniversary; the band was formed in 1985. Since their beginnings, the group has explored the intersection of rock and electronic music. Appear Disappear offers a new iteration of that meeting, situated between psychedelic rock and post-punk.
