Info
Olivier de Benoist returns to the stage with a show centered on what he now knows by heart: family life. There he dissects the couple, the children, compromises and the grand theories that are forgotten the moment reality knocks at the door. Between brazen confidences and unapologetic bad faith, he turns everyday life into a playground, revels in the incongruities, slips in asides and fires off deadpan one-liners. His quest for happiness takes very concrete detours: parent-teacher meetings, ever-lengthening to-do lists, little getaways to catch his breath and then come back pretending to have it all under control. He pushes clichés so he can better turn them on their heads, observes the roles that jostle for space and paints the portrait of a modern man, sometimes overwhelmed, often clear-sighted about his contradictions.
Join us on May 7, 2026 at the Salle de l’Arsenal in Toul for an evening of laughter about coupledom and the joys of parenthood—no manual required and with just the right touch of irony. It’s an opportunity to rediscover Olivier de Benoist’s verve, his way of turning domestic hassles into stories that hit home, between mischievous confessions and impeccable timing.
