Info
Sellig returns to the stage with “Episode 6,” a one-man show that he both wrote and directed. On March 21, 2026, he stops at the Parc des Expositions du Comminges in Villeneuve-de-Rivière. True to his keen eye, he dives into everyday life and highlights those tiny grains of sand that can derail a day. He dissects seemingly banal situations to reveal what they really mean, with neither detours nor frills. We follow him through his rigorous culinary apprenticeship, where theory collides with practice, and then into his famed “fifty-three‑ish” phase—a milestone he approaches with playful lucidity. He also opens the door on an old‑fashioned Christmas at his sister’s, with Bernard, a brother‑in‑law of unflappable composure, creating a family tableau that rings true. Episode 6 strings together stories and characters with tight writing and a sense of rhythm that keeps the audience engaged. We readily recognize ourselves in it—among quirks, annoyances and contradictions—in this theatre of the everyday that Sellig turns into clear, telling scenes.
