Couch arrives at the New Morning in Paris on March 10, 2026. Born out of long-distance exchanges between high school and college friends, the band initially wrote together via FaceTime, each member from their own bedroom, before meeting on stage. That first phase produced a self-titled EP, followed by a series of singles and, in 2022, a headlining tour of around twenty dates.

Back in Boston, Couch followed with Sunshower in 2023: a U.S. run of roughly forty dates, appearances at Boston Calling and Levitate, and their first full tour of the United Kingdom. Since then the band has shared the road with Lake Street Dive and Cory Wong, and opened for St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Sammy Rae and Ripe.

Today, Couch is preparing Big Talk, their debut album, announced by the track “What Were You Thinking,” and is setting out on an international tour. On stage, with the brass section up front, vocal harmonies and a groove that moves between soul, funk and pop, the band delivers a set designed for the room and the moment.
