Julien Santini

Info

On 21 March 2026, Julien Santini takes over the Théâtre de la Gaîté Montparnasse in Paris with his humour that sits on the border between stand-up and the absurd. The comedian moves by way of digressions, strings together everyday anecdotes, deliberately goes off the rails and allows himself to improvise when the audience hands him a cue. He plays with incongruity, silences, feigned discomfort and ill-timed lines. His writing, clean and rhythmic, leaves room for the present moment and for quick rebounds without losing the thread. The show often takes unexpected turns but always lands on its feet. He likes to evoke briefly sketched characters, twist his own sentences, try an idea and turn it inside out. The audience is never sidelined: looks, asides, small ruptures — everything helps build a simple, direct rapport. A Julien Santini show conceived as an extended conversation, balancing subtlety and off-kilter humour, where audiences come as much for the stories as for the way they are told. Running time: 1h20.
