Verino returns with Rodéo, a show in which he explores our inner tensions and that strange quest for balance in a turbulent age. Grounded yet with his feet dangling in the void, he moves forward with his keen powers of observation to tame the turmoil rather than flee it. This is not a stroll, it’s a rodeo: hold on, let go, start again, keeping humor as his compass.
After Focus, which drew large audiences in theatres and amassed more than 150 million views on YouTube, the comedian continues his journey with a new set co‑written with Marion Balestriero, Aude Galliou and Greg Vacher, and directed by Thibaut Evrard. For 90 minutes he blends the personal and the topical, everyday life and its contradictions, with precise pacing and a direct voice.
