Info
On June 5, 2027, U2 will take the stage at the Johan Cruijff ArenA in Amsterdam with the “The Greatest Show On Earth World Tour.” Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr. have spent decades crafting a rock language that feels both tight and expansive: angular from post-punk, later opened up to grand melodies and that distinctive, bright, repeating guitar work. In the set, you can expect that broad arc through their catalog, from the early urgency to the more layered work of the 1990s, where electronics and industrial colours nudged the band in new directions. Live, for U2, it’s about tension and dynamism: songs that may begin small, but in a stadium setting easily grow into massive sing-alongs.
The support comes from Wolf Alice. The London-based band around Ellie Rowsell moves smoothly between indie rock, shoegaze noise and dreamy pop moments, with enough sharp guitars to set the tone and enough atmosphere to draw you in. An opening act that not only warms up the crowd but truly creates its own world.
