Info
On June 6, 2027, U2 will land with “The Greatest Show On Earth World Tour” at the Johan Cruijff ArenA in Amsterdam. Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton, and Larry Mullen Jr. have been building that quintessential U2 balance on stage for decades: big melodies, tense rhythms, and those bright, looping guitar lines that let songs unfold slowly. Expect a set that effortlessly sums up their trajectory, from the early post-punk drive to the broader stadium sound and the periods in which they incorporated electronic and danceable textures into their rock. U2 is at its best when songs can breathe and explode, with room for contrast and emotion without detours.
As the supporting act, Wolf Alice is on the bill. The London-based band led by Ellie Rowsell and Joff Oddie moves fluidly between indie rock, shoegaze noise, dreamy passages, and direct riffs, always with that sense of dynamics: loud where it should be, soft where it can be. A strong warm-up for an evening built around songs you know, but which take on a different charge live.
