Info
On October 30, 2027, at Utilita Arena Birmingham, Texas bring their Scottish pop-rock in full band mode, powered by Sharleen Spiteri’s instantly recognizable voice. Since breaking out with “I Don’t Want a Lover”, the Glasgow crew has kept that mix of clean guitar lines, warm grooves and big choruses that made records like White on Blonde and The Hush stick around. Expect a set that moves between classic hits and later-era songs, with the kind of tight, unforced stage chemistry you only get from a group that’s been playing together for decades.
Del Amitri open the night with their own Glasgow brand of sharp, melodic rock, led by songwriter Justin Currie. Built on chiming guitars and plainspoken tunes with a bittersweet edge, their catalogue runs from Waking Hours through Twisted and beyond, with staples like “Nothing Ever Happens” and “Roll to Me” sitting next to deeper cuts. A double bill for anyone into songs that land fast and linger after.
