Info
On January 27, 2027, Fujiya & Miyagi bring their tight, motorik-driven art-pop to Concorde 2 in Brighton. Built on repetitive grooves, elastic basslines and that cool, half-spoken vocal delivery, the band’s sound sits right where krautrock discipline meets dancefloor pulse.
This show follows the long, meticulous build-up to New Shiny Object, a record shaped over four years of rewrites and studio detours, until only the essentials were left. It’s Fujiya & Miyagi leaning into what they do best: concise songs, synthetic textures, and a sense of forward motion that never loosens its grip. Expect the newer material to lock in with the group’s minimalist classics from Transparent Things and beyond, in a set designed for heads and hips alike.
