Valley of the Sun returns to Paris on October 29, 2026, at Backstage & O’Sullivans By The Mill, with the aim of starting afresh and championing its latest album, Quintessence. Fifteen years after its debut in Cincinnati, the trio continues to tinker with heavy, tense rock where stoner meets grunge, hard rock, and touches of psychedelic blues, all carried by a direct, front-facing sense of groove.
On stage, it’s a three-piece affair, with no unnecessary frills: thick riffs, bass upfront, a rasping voice with a hint of soul, and tracks that alternate between tension and release. After dragging its amps through a good number of clubs and festivals (Desertfests to Hellfest), the band arrives in France for a date that promises a set built to move bodies, between fuzz-drenched choruses and airier crescendos.
