Info
On February 7, 2027, Scala in London hosts a double bill built for fans of heavy riffs and precision.
Darkest Hour come with their long-running mix of metalcore urgency and melodic death metal craft. Since forming in Washington, D.C. in 1995, the band has kept its sound tight and forward: fast guitar work, Swedish-leaning harmonies, thrash pace, and hardcore bite in the rhythms and vocals. The set draws on a deep catalog that includes key records like Hidden Hands of a Sadist Nation, Undoing Ruin, Deliver Us, and later chapters such as Godless Prophets & the Migrant Flora, with the more recent Perpetual Terminal showing they’re still pushing dense, hard-edged songwriting.
Frozen Soul bring a very different pressure: slow, heavy, and deliberately glacial death metal from Fort Worth, Texas. Built on thick mid-tempo grooves and a cold, repetitive atmosphere, their material from Crypt of Ice and Glacial Domination leans into classic 90s aesthetics without rushing the impact. Expect controlled brutality, big riffs that linger, and lyrics steeped in isolation and survival imagery.
