Formed on Eel Pie Island in West London in the early 2000s, Mystery Jets have always sat in that sweet spot between wiry indie rock, hazy psych touches and straight-to-the-point pop melodies. Built around Blaine Harrison’s songwriting, the band has moved from the restless energy of their early records to a sharper, more melodic sound, without losing that slightly off-kilter sense of hooks and arrangements.
On Friday 21 August 2026, Mystery Jets land at Resident Music in Brighton to celebrate the release of A Hole To See The Sky Through. Expect a tight, 45-minute set that leans into what they do best: bright guitar lines, warm choruses, and songs that turn mid-phrase in just the right way. A chance to hear what’s new up close, with the band also sticking around for a signing.
