Born Patrick Chukwuemeka Okogwu in London, Tinie Tempah first made a name for himself in grime and UK rap, before widening his sound toward a more pop and electronic direction. Sharp raps, hooks that stick, production tailored for clubs as well as radio: his music travels between the raw energy of his early days and more melodic writing, without losing the sense of flow.
From Disc-Overy to Demonstration and then Youth, he built a hybrid trajectory between British hip-hop and dance-pop, propelled by notable collaborations and a genuine knack for singles.
