Info
On January 30, 2027, MK (Marc Kinchen) lands at O2 Academy Glasgow for a night built around the kind of house music he’s been shaping since the early 90s. Coming out of Detroit, he carved a signature where deep house meets garage swing: piano chords that hit clean, basslines that stay elastic, and vocals chopped into rhythmic hooks instead of straight verses.
In a live setting, that approach translates into sets designed for momentum, with tight transitions and a constant push from the vocal parts. From early staples like “Burning” and “Always” to his era-defining remix work, MK’s craft has always been about making a track feel bigger on the floor without losing its groove. His second wave in the 2010s, with club-ready cuts like “Piece of Me” and “17”, only sharpened that direct, modern dance structure. Expect a focused, functional ride: house music with garage warmth, clear builds, and a DJ who knows exactly when to let a chorus do the heavy lifting.
