Formed by the twin brothers Josef and Jan Prasil, Amistat returns with its folk-acoustic sound tinged with indie pop, built around two voices that respond to each other millimeter by millimeter. Dry guitars, stripped-back arrangements, direct writing: the duo goes straight to the heart without overdoing it, betting on the strength of harmonies and songs that are human-scale.
Born in Germany, raised in Italy in a family with Czech and Australian ties, they first carved their path in Australia before relocating to Europe in 2019. Their repertoire carries this intimate geography: travel, connections, small tremors of the journey, everything that remains when you move a lot. Active since 2012 and having released several EPs, Amistat has honed its live craft, touring across Europe, the UK, and Australia, with a heavy concert schedule in recent years.
