Info
Blanco White brings on March 9, 2027 his refined blend of folk, restrained pop and neofolk to Volkshaus Zürich. Behind the project stands the London-based songwriter Josh Edwards, who shapes his sonic image from two strong influences: flamenco guitar from Cadiz and Andean traditions he discovered in Bolivia. From this very combination emerges a distinctive sound between acoustic guitars, flamenco-inflected elements and Latin American colors, often complemented by the charango, without losing sight of clear, melodic songs.
Live, Blanco White thrives on closeness and detail: a warm, unobtrusive voice, delicate rhythm and arrangements that move between intimacy and expansiveness. Those who know his EPs such as The Wind Rose, Colder Heavens or Nocturne will instantly recognize his handwriting; those who only got into him with On the Other Side or Tarifa will see here how this hybrid aesthetic comes together on stage.
