Skip the Use « Love & Anxiety Tour »

Skip The Use arrives at Sceneo, Longuenesse, on January 23, 2027 with the Love & Anxiety Tour. Formed in 2007 around Matt Bastard, the band built its identity on taut rock rooted in punk, propelled by sharp riffs and a direct rhythmic drive. With Yann Stefani, Jay Gimenez, Lio Rapsaert and Manamax Catteloin, the group released a self-produced debut album in 2009, played nearly 300 shows in two years, then issued Can Be Late in 2012—an album that the following year earned a Victoire de la Musique for rock album. Since then, Skip The Use has continued to make its mark on stage and has honed a sound conceived for live performance.

On this tour, the band blends new songs with signature tracks, featuring unifying vocals and bursts of acceleration that recall their live DNA. Cutting guitars, a no-nonsense rhythm section and collective energy: Skip The Use returns to essentials—the kind of rock experienced standing up, driven by a frontal presence and an instinct for choruses that get the whole room singing as one.
