Planet V returns to Camden on 25 July 2026, taking over Electric Ballroom, London, for a daytime drum and bass session across two spaces. At the heart of the bill, Roni Size brings the Bristol sound he helped shape from jungle into drum and bass. From his early productions and the Full Cycle/Dope Dragon era to the Reprazent projects, he forged a style where agile breakbeats and weighty basslines lock in with jazz, soul and hip‑hop influences. On stage, expect a DJ set that threads classic motifs with fresh cuts, attentive to groove, detail and low‑end pressure.
Riya, drum and bass vocalist and host, adds the voice that lifts and connects the room. Her clear, melodic toplines and timing on the mic slide naturally over liquid rollers and deeper selections, giving hooks, call‑and‑response moments and a live spark that keeps the flow moving. Together they anchor a Planet V line‑up built for movement rather than nostalgia, bridging Bristol heritage and London energy for a straight-up club workout in Camden.
