Puma Blue

South London-born singer, producer and songwriter Jacob Allen, aka Puma Blue, brings his dreamlike soul and hushed indie to Bristol Beacon on 25 May 2026. Emerging with the EPs Swum Baby and Blood Loss, he pushed further with the shadowy debut In Praise of Shadows and its companion concert film A Late Night Special. Now based in Atlanta, he tours with a tight band that lets the songs breathe: spare guitar figures, brushed drums, bass lines that lean into silence, and a falsetto that hovers close. The set folds in the meditative writing of Holy Waters and the minimal, home-recorded sketches of antichamber, tracing themes of loss, renewal and intimacy. Live, Puma Blue shifts between crooned ballads and loose improvisations, keeping the focus on texture and space rather than volume, with arrangements that evolve from whisper to glow. A quietly intense show built around detail, timing and the friction between dream and melancholy.
