UK outfit Desolated brings another angle on heavy hardcore from this side of the Channel, sharpening metallic grooves and blunt chugs into tightly wound tracks built for impact. From New York, Missing Link draws on the weight of NYHC with compact songwriting, thick guitars and sudden slowdowns that flip a room from surge to stomp. California’s Extinguish rounds out the bill with a metalcore/beatdown strain steeped in low-end crunch and precise, no-frills rhythms.
