Info
On 19 May 2026 at O2 Institute Birmingham in Birmingham, Florence Road bring their taut indie energy to the stage. Formed in Bray, County Wicklow by childhood friends Lily Aron, Emma Brandon, Ailbhe Barry and Hannah Kelly, the quartet blends electric tension and bare-edged fragility, folding indie rock lines into grunge scuffs and alt-pop hooks. Their first mixtape, Fall Back (2025), frames writing that leans into anxiety, the push-and-pull of early adulthood and unfiltered emotion, with tracks like Heavy and Caterpillar. Live, the balance holds: quiet-to-loud shifts, close-knit harmonies and guitars that cut without losing the melody.
Also on the bill, MOIO — Nigerian-Irish singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist — moves between R&B, soul, alt-pop and indie. Raised in Dublin, he learned piano, guitar and bass before growing into a self-produced sound built on melody and texture. Songs such as SUNBEAMING, Open Your Eyes and Moments sketch that approach: warm vocals, understated grooves, detail-driven arrangements. On stage he keeps the line between writing and production clear and fluid, letting emotion set the pace.
