Info
On May 8, 2027, Bleech 9:3 land at the O2 Institute Birmingham with the kind of alt-rock set that’s built for a room to lock in together. Formed between Dublin and now based around Brixton, the four-piece is driven by the twin voices of Barry Quinlan and Sam Duffy, backed by James Quinlan on bass and Luke O’Neill on drums. Their sound plays with sharp contrasts: clean melodic lines that suddenly get swallowed by saturated guitars, tension that holds back before opening into loud, direct releases.
Live, that push-and-pull becomes the point. You can expect a tight band dynamic shaped by years on the London circuit, where they’ve opened for acts like Shame and Keo and sharpened their presence through extended runs on stage. With songs like “Ceiling” and “Jacky” in the background, this Birmingham date is a chance to catch Bleech 9:3 in their natural habitat: introspective writing, abrasive edges, and hooks that cut through.
