Death in Vegas

Death in Vegas lands at Chalk, Brighton, on 28 November 2026. Led by Richard Fearless, the London-born project has been bending lines between electronics and rock since the mid-90s, moving from big beat and trip-hop hues to dub, psychedelia and a post-punk undertow. Early albums like Dead Elvis and The Contino Sessions set the tone with guest voices over club-rooted rhythms and rough-edged guitars, before Scorpio Rising pushed the motorik drive and Satan’s Circus locked into leaner acid and techno patterns. After Trans-Love Energies and Transmission, Death in Vegas returned to the studio with Death Mask in 2025, a dive into heavy, melodic, tripped-out analogue techno.

On stage, Fearless threads analogue synths, low-slung bass and hypnotic loops into a set that shifts shape without losing its pulse, letting rugged textures brush up against machine funk and krautrock-tinged momentum. The show can glance back at early cuts while leaning into the darker, immersive current of Death Mask. Special guests join the bill.
