Info
Kraftwerk play Royal Albert Hall, London, on 5 June 2026 with a multimedia concert built on image, rhythm and tight synchronisation. Founded in Düsseldorf in 1970 by Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider, the group moved from early experimental krautrock to an electronic language focused on repetition, melody and processed voices. On stage today, Ralf Hütter leads a quartet at consoles where sequences, drum patterns and vocals lock to large-scale visuals, offering a fresh reading of their catalogue.
The set revisits key chapters from Autobahn, Radio-Activity, Trans-Europe Express, The Man-Machine, Computer World and Electric Café, as well as later material like Tour de France. Mechanical pulses and vocoder lines carry themes of technology, transport and everyday modernity, while arrangements refined since The Mix give the tracks a new edge. Since 2008 the project has continued without Florian Schneider, but the method remains: music and moving image advancing together, precise and immersive, with Kraftwerk’s “robot pop” projected into the present.
