On 2 July 2026 at Iveagh Gardens in Dublin, Nile Rodgers & CHIC bring their crisp, dance‑floor DNA to the city. Guitarist, composer and producer, Rodgers co-founded CHIC and helped define a tight, syncopated funk that still shapes pop and club music. On stage, his clipped guitar lines and clean arrangements stitch together songs he wrote, played or produced, from sleek disco grooves to sharp, radio-ready hooks, tracing a path through five decades without losing the pulse.
Formed by Rodgers with Bernard Edwards, CHIC anchors the show with elastic basslines, call‑and‑response vocals and a rhythm section built for movement. The set draws on Le Freak, I Want Your Love and Good Times, alongside cuts that echo through house, hip‑hop and modern pop. Between CHIC’s catalog and the tracks Rodgers steered for David Bowie, Madonna or Diana Ross, every section finds a new pocket while keeping the melodies upfront.
